Why are we getting a 50 generation daily limit now???
I thought as part of having Hugging Face Pro, we'd be able to have unlimited gens (for the most part). What's with the daily limits now? There also wasn't any heads up about it or anything. Pretty shady.
Hi! We are adding some limits to avoid abuse, some folks had hooked this to image generation apps which was not the spirit of this demo. Also, this demo never promised unlimited gens.
What is your use-case and what do you think is a fair daily usage?
I don't have mine hooked to any image generation app at all, and I wouldn't even know or want to know how to do that in the first place. I do use the model quite a bit to make images for my own personal use. It may have never promised getting unlimited gens, but that's what I was pretty much getting daily. I don't know what would be a fair daily usage, as every user is different, but I do know that if I'm paying for something I expect to get high usage out of it. That's the only reason why I subbed to Pro in the first place was to be able to use Nano Banana and I never had or encountered any limits until today. Maybe punish those that were hooking it up to image generation apps instead of those who had nothing to do with that? 50 gens a day is extremely low and honestly a lot lower than other places.
@multimodalart Would you guys consider implementing rolling usage limits instead to avoid abuse? Similar to Claude's 5 hour buckets? Would be happy to submit a PR for this

Hadn't realized there'd be a limit imposed until the update (thus renewed interest on my end).
I get anxious about generating anything now feeling like "I'm wasting" my daily quota when honestly I doubt I'd come anywhere near 50 w/o this new cap. Hitting it the first day testing the new update was a gut punch though :/
