I am writing to respectfully request a reconsideration of my application to access the meta-llama/Llama-3.2-3B-Instruct model. I am currently developing a thesis project as part of my Master’s degree in Data Science and Information, and this model is highly relevant to the goals of my work.
The focus of my project is to build a lightweight conversational system as part of a scalable architecture for intelligent assistants in real-world environments. The LLaMA 3.2 3B model stands out as an ideal candidate due to its balance between performance and computational efficiency—making it especially suitable for experimentation on resource-constrained systems such as local servers or mid-range workstations.
Furthermore, as an instruction-tuned model, Llama-3.2-3B-Instruct offers strong conversational alignment, which is crucial for evaluating natural language interaction quality and responsiveness in various practical scenarios. Gaining access to this model would allow me to run comparative evaluations, explore its generalization in Spanish, and document its capabilities against other similar-sized models.
This use case is strictly academic and non-commercial, and all work will be documented and submitted as part of my graduate thesis. I am fully committed to complying with the model’s license terms and can provide additional project details if needed.
